Windows Firewall is a security application built into Windows. One of its tasks is to block unauthorized access to your computer or laptop. Secondly, the role is to confirm the authorized transfer of data to and from your computer.
Windows Firewall addresses these issues with rules and exceptions that apply to both incoming and outgoing traffic. They will certainly apply depending on the network you are connected to and as the path to the location you set in Windows when you connected to the network. Depending on your choice, the current Windows Firewall will automaticallyconfigures per-user rules and exceptions applied to the network.
This makes Windows Firewall Cream quiet and easy to use. It only bothers you when there are no rules or exceptions to what you’re trying to do, or if your computer’s capacity is sufficient.

Another advantage of Windows Firewall is that it is so tightly and well integrated with Windows and almost all of its networking features that some commercial vendors have chosen to overlay it and use it in human security products. For example, insurers for products such as Trend Micro or F-Secure no longer provide their own software modules, but instead use the Windows Firewall.
With some differences, Windows Firewall terminology works the same on Windows 7 and Windows 8.x. The only notable difference is that in Windows 8.x, the word “application” is actually used for “program”.
Where to find the firewall
By default, Windows, all Windows firewalls are enabled, and clients don’t need to do anything to make them work. You will probably see hints from time to time, but they appear so infrequently that customers may forget that they work especially well.

Unless you are fixing the problem or planning to install a different firewall, we recommend that you do not disable Windows Firewall. If you’re turning off your firewall because a program can’t access the Internet, see How to close a program or possibly a game through Windows Firewall.
You can successfully expand another section and keep track of the default settings that apply connection times to networks of one kind or another.
If you have installed a third-party security application that also includes softwareFirewall module most likely Windows Firewall has been disabled to prevent performance issues and issues between the two security products. If this applies to your company’s computer or device, you will not be able to see the information in the Windows Firewall window all the time, and no one will be able to configure it to work specifically.
Instead, a warning appears: “These themes are managed by the application name provider.” The screenshot below shows what it looks like.

You can choose to access both types of interactive sites, or only one of them. To accept the “Allow access” setting, click “Cancel” and the program will most likely be blocked for almost all network locations. p>
At this point, remember that only administrators can have certain exceptions in Windows Firewall. Using a standard savings account without administrator privileges effectively blocks programs that frequently violate Windows Firewall rules and exceptions without a constant prompt.
Please note that in Windows 8.x you will never see Windows Firewall prompts related to Windows Store apps. They automatically get access to the network and the Internet based on the assumption that you know what permissions they need based on how the information is displayed in the Windows Store. Firewall
